State of the Day
Have you thought about why there aren’t murals of Irina Zalutka in liberal cities?
Irina has no tears
On one hand, it’s a relief to see the life slowly fading from the eyes of the neo-Marxist left. But, unfortunately, it seems like there’s still a lot of pain in store before things improve.
Take Jimmy Kimmel, for example. He got emotional over Alex Preti, which usually doesn’t make headlines. The last time Kimmel’s tears were newsworthy was when he had to apologize on air for spreading misinformation about Charlie Kirk’s supposed death.
Jon Stewart, meanwhile, is just as furious with Alex Preti as he is with Renee Goode. “They’re lying,” he remarked recently. “We saw it. What a bold deception, knowing we have witnessed the truth.”
He referred to the shooting as a “murder.”
To be fair, the initial responses from Republicans regarding Alex Preti were excessive, labeling him as a “terrorist” or “assassin.” That’s a stretch. Preti wasn’t either; he was just a confused individual swamped by liberal propaganda. If you throw a stone from where he was killed, you might hit a couple of bogus Somali businesses. Seriously, it’s right there.
That said, calling it “murder” might be an overstatement too. Preti had a history of physical confrontations with federal police, having suffered injuries in a prior altercation. If anyone was targeting him, it was likely himself.
But I digress. What we actually witnessed that day on the train in Charlotte was a clear, legal, premeditated murder.
Did they shed tears for Irina Zalutka? Certainly not.
There are countless deaths, rapes, and robberies related to illegal immigration, but Irina’s murder wasn’t at the hands of an undocumented immigrant. It was the result of a lenient criminal policy stemming from what many refer to as “woke” or neo-Marxism, or somewhat provocatively, “homosexual racial communism.”
The judge responsible for releasing Zalutka’s murderer, DeCarlos Brown Jr., was Judge Teresa Stokes—a mental health professional without any legal experience. Interestingly, she’s also a black woman “for the sake of diversity.”
She shouldn’t have been making decisions regarding violent criminals, yet there she was.
Kimmel, Stewart, Stokes, Pretty, Good, Zalutka—they all share a troubling connection to damaging liberal policies, and for half of them, a desperate need to maintain their political clout.
Liberal policies have, in many ways, turned American cities to ashes. The economy has never been harder on the middle class. Home ownership is out of reach for most, pushing ordinary folks to flee. What’s left? Only the very rich and the very poor. You can see this across major liberal “sanctuaries.” In cities like Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and even Minneapolis, rent and home prices are skyrocketing, alongside debt and violent crime.
Education continues to decline, and costs are soaring in these areas.
Bad policies, illegality, government-mandated economics, and failing educational institutions are driving folks away.
Who wants to work a job where you can’t even afford a home, only to potentially face violence during your commute in a city that’s financially inaccessible?
So, people are relocating in droves. And similar to refugees escaping communism in Venezuela, they’re moving to red states—only to blame the left and register as Republicans once they settle in.
The population in blue states is dwindling rapidly, and on top of that, the number of registered Democrats is also falling. Their numbers are looking pretty grim.
If this trend carries on, the next census could reflect significant shifts.
Just a little back-of-the-envelope calculation: if current patterns persist, Democrats might win Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, but they could still face defeat in the elections. Plus, with population declines, Democratic seats in the House will be lost to Republicans.
As much as I’d love to label the Republican push for mass deportation as a cynical strategy, the American public generally doesn’t view illegal immigrants favorably.
#Poll: Is illegal immigration a serious problem in the U.S.?
Very/somewhat serious: 58%
Mild/Not a problem: 36%
These numbers spell disaster for Democrats. Weak or nonexistent entry restrictions translate to disastrous policies that endanger lives. Additionally, taxpayers bear the burden of billions in fraud. Ordinary citizens see Irina’s tragic death, and the state of facilities like the “Quality Learning Center,” and desire to escape.
In response, the Democratic Party seems to be ramping up their fervor. In Minneapolis, key officials in the Walz administration have been coordinating chats to block ICE raids. Their initiative has led to tragic outcomes, including fatalities and injuries.
Now, Democrats are pushing a bill in Virginia to prevent enforcement of immigration laws within 50 feet of polling places.
Can I be blunt for a second?
This whole destructive ideology coming from the left can seemingly only survive by bringing in millions of illegal immigrants—potential voters. Without this, their narrative will crumble in a few years.
As Republicans, we’ve got to take a moment to own up to this. It’s going to get messy. And, honestly, it’s what many of us voted for.
It’s distressing to see families torn apart and sent back home, especially when you see crying children and mothers. It really weighs on me.
But my capacity for charity isn’t boundless. They can find help in churches. My priority is my family, my community, my town, and my country.
These policies that disregard the law have been harmful to all of that.
Your tears won’t sway me, Jimmy. They need to go back. All of them.
