Megyn Kelly has criticized fellow podcaster Kara Swisher, suggesting she might be inciting violence by drawing a comparison between White House advisor Stephen Miller and a Nazi war criminal.
On her X account, Kelly expressed her outrage, stating, “This is disgusting. She’s trying to kill @StephenM.” She went on to question, “How can you say he is Himmler? Deranged and too pale. We cannot escape that.”
This reaction came after a video surfaced where Swisher likened Miller to Heinrich Himmler, a key figure in the Nazi regime under Adolf Hitler.
In her remarks on the Pivot podcast, Swisher stated, “People like Stephen Miller are going to go down in history as bad people; they have blood on their hands, and they should end up in prison,” referring to Miller’s involvement in a recent incident where two anti-ICE protesters were shot in Minneapolis.
Himmler is infamously known as the architect of the Holocaust, which decimated much of Europe’s Jewish population. Notably, Miller has Jewish roots.
Swisher also compared him to Carl Bendessen, a U.S. Army officer from the 1940s who played a role in the mass deportation of Japanese Americans during World War II.
Miller, a senior aide to President Trump, is often seen as a key contributor to the administration’s strict immigration policies, making him a contentious figure. He has faced backlash following his statements after the shooting of Alex Preti.
Initially, Miller referred to Preti as a “wannabe assassin,” but video evidence later contradicted this description.
Shortly after, Miller revised his statement, suggesting that the investigators “may not have followed procedures.”
The media has reached out for comments from Swisher and the White House.
