Trump Endorses Tom Tiffany for Wisconsin Governor

Former President Donald Trump has declared his backing for Rep. Tom Tiffany (R-Wis.) in the upcoming gubernatorial election in Wisconsin, a state crucial for both parties.

In a detailed message posted on Truth Social, Trump said he offers his “full and complete support” for Tiffany. He expressed that he has been an advocate for Tiffany since his days in Congress, noting Tiffany’s past election wins and achievements. Trump described Tiffany as a “highly successful businessman, farmer, and state representative” who has shown strong commitment to his community.

Trump emphasized that Tiffany intends to prioritize the interests of both Wisconsin and the country, asserting that he will champion “common-sense values.”

In an enthusiastic tone, Trump mentioned, “As Governor-elect, Tom will work tirelessly to grow the economy, cut taxes and regulations, promote American-made products, enhance border security, and advocate for law and order.” He added that Tiffany would uphold the integrity of elections and support Wisconsin’s workforce.

Tiffany responded by stating his gratitude for Trump’s endorsement, highlighting current trends like rising wages and falling gas prices as evidence of effective leadership. He mentioned that restoring common-sense leadership is essential for the state.

Tiffany has been serving in the U.S. House of Representatives since May 2020 after winning a special election for the seat formerly held by Sean Duffy, a Republican and Trump’s former transportation secretary.

Trump has found success in Wisconsin during previous elections, winning both 2016 and 2024, but faced defeat in 2020.

This forthcoming gubernatorial election will see an open race, as the current Democratic Governor, Tony Evers, has decided not to pursue a third term.
