Casey Wasserman Denies Relationship with Jeffrey Epstein

Los Angeles Olympian Casey Wasserman has firmly stated that he had no “relationship” with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. This assertion comes after provocative emails exchanged between him and Ghislaine Maxwell were disclosed in a recent Justice Department document release.

Wasserman expressed regret over his past correspondence with Maxwell, saying, “I deeply regret the correspondence I had with Ghislaine Maxwell over 20 years ago, long before her horrific crimes came to light.”

In one of the emails from 2003, Wasserman, who is married, flirtatiously asked Maxwell, “Where are you, I want to see you?” and “Can I book that massage now?”

He stated, “I have never had a personal or business relationship with Jeffrey Epstein,” adding that he went on a humanitarian trip on Epstein’s plane as part of a Clinton Foundation delegation in 2002. “I deeply regret any association with either of them,” he noted.

This cheeky exchange was revealed as part of a trove of 3 million documents linked to Epstein released by the Justice Department.

Maxwell responded to Wasserman’s messages with her own fiery remarks, saying, “Is it okay to scrub so much? Honestly, I get a little choked up thinking about it,” referring to her time in Brazil at that moment. She also added, “There are some things that clearly drive men crazy. Could you try it on yourself and tell me if it works?”

In 2021, Maxwell was convicted for grooming numerous girls and women for Epstein and subsequently sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Maxwell recalled in a March 2003 message that she thought of Wasserman “at inappropriate moments.” In another exchange, Wasserman remarked, “I think about you all the time…so what do I have to do to see you in a tight leather outfit? I’m in New York tonight and you’re not, what do I have to do? Xoxo cw.”

Maxwell responded, bringing a playful touch: “Casey – Returning to New York [tomorrow] Late afternoon. I’m going to wear a tight leather flight suit…” This back-and-forth occurred while Wasserman was still married to his then-wife, Laura.

Casey Wasserman, grandson of legendary mogul Lou Wasserman, runs Wasserman, a company in sports, music, and entertainment. Furthermore, California Governor Gavin Newsom has appointed him, along with Magic Johnson and Los Angeles Dodgers Chairman Mark Walter, to lead recovery efforts following last year’s severe fires in Los Angeles.

A report by Vanity Fair from 2003 indicated that Wasserman was indeed a passenger on Epstein’s plane during the 2002 humanitarian trip. Other notable passengers included actors Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker and billionaire Ron Burkle, a friend of former President Clinton.
