Russell Wilson Denies Links to Jeffrey Epstein
Quarterback Russell Wilson of the New York Giants has rejected any associations with Jeffrey Epstein after his name appeared in a recent email release. This came after a significant batch of emails was made public by the Justice Department, which included messages exchanged between Epstein and his pilot, Larry Visosky. They talked about Wilson potentially acquiring Epstein’s Gulfstream G-IV back in 2019.
In response to the speculation, Wilson was emphatic in distancing himself from Epstein. “No!!! Absolutely not! Not today, Satan!” he remarked. He clarified that an aircraft broker had attempted to sell him a plane, but he was unaware of its previous owner and never finalized the purchase or met Epstein.
The email correspondence indicated that Wilson, while still with the Seattle Seahawks, had been in frequent contact with his broker about the aircraft. One email suggested he was troubled over whether his potential plane purchase would interfere with his contract negotiations with the Seahawks.
Wilson’s desire was to secure the aircraft until a deal was officially signed, which he noted could take weeks or even months. It was mentioned that he had taken many photos and videos during a flight with his wife, the singer Ciara.
A representative for Wilson confirmed to the Seattle Times that he never bought the plane and was unaware of any Epstein connection regarding the discussions with the third party.
The emails were part of a larger release that included over 3 million documents related to investigations into human trafficking and child exploitation. Epstein died in a federal jail cell in Manhattan on August 10, 2019, with his death ruled a suicide.
