Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America Launches $3.2 Million Campaign in Iowa
Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America, along with Women Speak Out PAC, is investing $3.2 million to support pro-life candidates in Iowa for the upcoming 2026 midterm elections.
These major pro-life organizations plan to reach out to 500,000 voters in Iowa prior to Election Day, rallying support for pro-life conservatives like Rep. Ashley Hinson, who is vying for a vacant U.S. Senate seat, and Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, who is running for re-election. Both candidates have received endorsements from SBA Pro-Life America and were rated A+ on the National Pro-Life Scorecard for their voting records against abortion.
Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of SBA Pro-Life America, stated, “Ashley Hinson is an outstanding advocate for both unborn children and mothers. She will step into her role in the U.S. Senate following the retirement of pro-life Sen. Joni Ernst. Hinson recently introduced the Pregnant Student Rights Act, which passed in the House, aimed at informing mothers on campus about available life-affirming resources. Unfortunately, Democrats in Washington seem to prioritize unrestricted abortion access over real choices and support for women. We truly need strong, principled voices like hers to stand up for our values and counter extreme positions.”
Dannenfelser also emphasized Miller-Meeks’ commitment to protecting life, saying, “She knows every life is valuable and consistently votes to safeguard unborn children and women. As a physician, veteran, lawmaker, and mother, she passionately defends the well-being of Iowans and all Americans, especially with Joe Biden’s continued policies that allow abortion pills to flood into pro-life states like Iowa. This is a pressing issue, as it’s creating widespread harm.”
She added that both Hinson and Miller-Meeks were influential in passing the Working Families Tax Relief Act, which has eliminated $500 million in taxes on the abortion industry for the first time in history.
“This year, it’s vital to elect decisive pro-life leaders to both the House and Senate and to secure a strong pro-life governor to succeed Kim Reynolds, who will protect Iowa’s mothers and infants,” Dannenfelser mentioned. “We know Democrats will pour significant resources into defeating our pro-life champions and reinstating taxpayer funding for abortion services. Our dedicated team is committed to countering this, engaging with hundreds of thousands of voters face-to-face, ensuring Iowans remain proud of their pro-life stance.”
The initiative will be led in Iowa by Marlene Downing, the state director, focusing efforts mainly in Des Moines, Davenport, and Cedar Rapids. The campaign will involve hundreds of recruiters aiming to reach both consistent pro-life voters and those who haven’t frequently participated in midterm elections. The strategy includes digital ads, voter outreach, and an extensive early voting campaign.
SBA Pro-Life America, which claims to be the largest grassroots pro-life voter engagement program in the country, asserts that this Iowa campaign is part of a broader $80 million investment aimed at reaching 10.5 million voters in competitive races nationwide during the 2026 mid-term cycle.
