San Francisco – It seems that Puka Nacua and Sidney Sweeney won’t be starting a romance anytime soon.
While Sweeney has long been rumored to be with music manager Scooter Braun, that didn’t deter the Los Angeles Rams wide receiver from taking a chance last week.
In a recent conversation with Cosmopolitan, Sweeney described her ideal partner as someone “athletic, outgoing, and funny,” particularly someone she could “go skydiving with.”
Nacua, obviously more athletic, playfully tried to win her over by saying “I love you” in X regarding skydiving.
When asked during a press event if he thought he had a shot with Sweeney, he inadvertently shared an interesting detail. “It’ll be interesting because I’m actually afraid of heights,” he admitted.
Another reporter inquired about who had sent him a direct message recently. After a moment of thought, he mentioned, “The NFL was the last DM I got. Honestly, I was pretty bummed when I found out I couldn’t get tickets to the Warriors game.”
Nacua recently ended a long-term relationship with Harry Aiono, who had a son, Kingston, and they went through a paternity test to confirm Nacua as the father after Aiono filed court documents in June regarding parentage.
Sweeney’s previous engagement to Jonathan Davino was called off in March 2025, and since then, she has been seen with Braun.
