Cooper DeJean, a cornerback for the Eagles, found himself in an awkward situation while chatting with FanDuel host Kay Adams about the buzz surrounding his alleged romance with WWE star Nikki Bella.
During his appearance on “Up & Adams” on Radio Row ahead of the 2026 Super Bowl, DeJean shared his excitement about potentially being a “fun uncle” to Reed Blankenship’s future child, expressing hope that the Eagles would retain the free agent safety.
“I hope we can bring him back,” DeJean mentioned.
Adams lightheartedly tossed in, “And Aunt Nikki Bella.”
DeJean couldn’t help but blush and chuckle at the comment.
“Okay, great,” he responded. “I don’t know about that. She’s a good friend.”
Adams then referenced a recent moment on “Raw” in Philadelphia where Bella was met with chants of “Coop” in the ring.
Addressing the chants, DeJean remarked, “What is she talking about? … She says she has good taste. So she could be talking about anyone.”
Adams praised Bella, a devoted Eagles supporter, calling her a “legend” and an “absolute badass.”
DeJean agreed, stating, “She’s amazing. She’s been doing this for a long time.”
Though the topic of Nikki Bella came up frequently during his time on Radio Row, DeJean remained vague about the nature of their relationship.
TMZ earlier reported that there seemed to be a connection between DeJean and Bella, particularly after she was seen wearing his jersey at an Eagles game.
Bella clarified that she was “still single” when gossip sites caught wind of the viral moment during RAW.
The internet had a heyday back in December when Nikki was spotted at DeJean’s locker following the Eagles’ impressive 31-0 victory over the Raiders.
She shares a five-year-old son, Matteo, with her ex-husband Artem Chigvintsev, with their divorce finalized in May 2025.
DeJean was also previously linked to Steph Wilfone.
