Bianca Sensori recently shared that she went through an inpatient rehabilitation program in Spain.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, the former architect elaborated, saying, “I needed to improve myself.” She explained that she had a pattern of behavior that affected not only her but also those around her.
Sensori admitted to having “explosive” reactions towards her loved ones and remarked, “I put a lot of pressure on other people to be the reason for my happiness or unhappiness. If I’m not feeling good, I tend to blame someone else.”
She also disclosed that she resorted to self-medicating with benzodiazepines.
Fortunately, her time in rehab “changed my life,” she said, reflecting, “How did I become a completely different person? I had such emotional dysregulation, and now I’m able to function.”
During the conversation, she acknowledged that her husband, Kanye West, financed her treatment and revealed how deeply impactful it was for her, stating, “Nothing you’ve ever bought me before is in proportion to how important this was to me.”
In return, she encouraged West to seek help as well, which led to him entering a rehabilitation facility in Switzerland.
As the interview unfolded, she expressed that she is contemplating ending her marriage due to West’s controversies, including some troubling remarks he made in the past.
She labeled those thoughts “surface level,” indicating a more complex emotional landscape.
West was later prescribed medication and publicly apologized for his previous comments. She shared her commitment to support him throughout this process, mentioning, “This year has been like months of CPR. I care for him but understand that the world views him differently.”
Reflecting on their relationship, Sensori explained that their romantic feelings developed while they were closely collaborating at Yeezy. “You spend so much time together…either on the phone or just together constantly,” she noted.
The couple got married in December 2022, shortly after reconciling from a previous divorce. “I didn’t marry my husband to gain a platform,” she affirmed. “I married him because I love him. Is that the most corny thing ever?”
She spoke positively about West as a father to their four children, describing him as “a really great dad.” She recalled a memorable moment when he transformed their space into a playful environment, saying, “It’s really cute, especially for smaller kids.”
