Los Angeles Braces for Super Bowl 60 with Unique Celebrations

Los Angeles might be counting down to next year for its turn to host the Super Bowl, but that doesn’t mean it’s sitting idly by. This city knows how to throw a fantastic party, even if the big game is happening just up the coast.

Super Bowl 60 will unfold in the Bay Area on Sunday, but LA is gearing up to celebrate in its own style as the Seattle Seahawks go head-to-head with the New England Patriots. From high-tech immersive experiences to lively bars and vibrant dance floors infused with Latin culture, LA plans to make noise—loudly and unapologetically.

The prime watch parties kick off in Inglewood at the Cosm. This venue has quickly emerged as one of the most innovative places to watch sports in the country. It feels less like a watch party and more like stepping into the game itself. Picture an LED cocoon that envelops you in action. Guests can look forward to a gourmet culinary journey featuring football-themed photo ops and a Super Bowl LX tasting menu inspired by San Francisco. Think char siu pork belly buns, garlic noodles topped with Peking duck, and a host of decadent desserts. It’s got the energy of the Vegas Sphere but with LA’s trademark flair.

“I want Cosm to be the best blend of an in-person event and the comfort of home,” said Jeb Terry, CEO of Cosm. “You can’t replicate the electricity of a live sporting event, and our aim is to bring that as close to home as possible.”

For those who want a laid-back Super Bowl experience with just a cold beer in hand, 33 taps across neighborhoods like Silver Lake, Culver City, DTLA, and Hollywood promise packed venues, raucous TVs, and drink specials that kick off before the game even starts. It’s the purest form of sports fun—complete with fries and strong opinions.

More Festive Spots Across the City

West Hollywood is diving headfirst into the festivities, with places like Skybar hosting Super Bowl events in a chic lounge setting. Meanwhile, Harriet’s Rooftop at 1 Hotel West Hollywood will boast stunning skyline views, hand-picked cocktails, and a crowd that looks like a fashion week afterparty—all while catching the game.

Over at Ovation Hollywood, the courtyard turns into an expansive tailgate-style living room, while Dave and Buster’s will add its unique flavor with games and excitement.

However, perhaps the heart of Super Bowl 60 in LA lies in the vibrant watch parties planned throughout the city. Latin sports bars are stepping up, hosting themed events that also celebrate culture. With Bad Bunny set to make halftime history as the first artist to headline a primarily Spanish show, venues like Nativo Casita are planning for music, drinks, and even a Bad Bunny lookalike contest. Candlelight Burbank will feature an acoustic performance of his biggest hits, while places like La Papusa will offer custom cocktails alongside limited edition pupusas. Meanwhile, Park and Rex Studio is combining the game, party, and halftime into one big communal celebration.
