Kenneth Walker III Named MVP of Super Bowl LX

Kenneth Walker III, the running back for the Seattle Seahawks, was awarded the MVP title for Super Bowl LX.

In a standout performance, the fourth-year player rushed for 135 yards on 27 carries, clearly dominating the field as the top offensive player.

The need for Walker to step up became apparent after Zach Charbonnet suffered an ACL injury during the NFC Championship game just two weeks prior.

By the second quarter, Walker had already matched the achievement of legends like Timmy Smith and Marcus Allen, with several 25-yard runs in a Super Bowl.

Although he didn’t score a touchdown himself—Seattle’s only offensive touchdown came from AJ Varner—Walker’s ability to push the ball forward set up scoring opportunities. Jason Myers capitalized on this with a successful field goal following one of Walker’s impressive runs.

His 135 rushing yards rank him eighth in Super Bowl history and are the second-most for a single game, including playoffs.

Interestingly, Walker’s rushing prop was set around 70 yards, and he surpassed that total in just the first half. With the new NFL season approaching, he is expected to enter free agency, and this performance surely helps his case.

The Seahawks secured their second Lombardi Trophy, defeating the New England Patriots with a score of 29-13.
