Massie and Khanna plan to review the unedited Epstein documents at the DOJ on Monday.

Republican Representative Thomas Massie from Kentucky and Democratic Representative Ro Khanna from California are set to visit the Justice Department on Monday to examine unredacted documents related to the Epstein case.

This bipartisan partnership was pivotal in passing the Epstein File Transparency Act the previous year. Khanna remarked on Sunday, “Thanks to the courage of survivors who rallied at the Capitol, we succeeded in advancing the Epstein Transparency Act. Tomorrow, Massie and I will be at the Department of Justice to review the unredacted files. We won’t stop until justice is served for Epstein’s victims.”

Massie invited suggestions on which documents to focus on during his visit. He tweeted, “I’m heading to the Justice Department tomorrow to see the unredacted Epstein files. Any thoughts on which documents to check out?” Meanwhile, Republican Rep. Nancy Mace from South Carolina, who is running for governor, mentioned that although she wasn’t watching the Super Bowl, she was engrossed in the responses to Massie’s post.

She commented, “I’m preparing for my Department of Justice visit this week. Thanks, @RepThomasMassie, for the useful suggestions. Not tuning into the Super Bowl, but combing through the comments.” Former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene, who stepped down last month, also engaged in the discussion, stating, “Every document mentions ‘jerky’ and ‘pizza.’ The FBI is producing files with officials from the president to the State Department, individuals benefiting from government contracts, and foreign nations tied to Epstein. Notably, names remain unredacted.”

Last year, only four House Republicans, including Massie, Greene, Mace, and Colorado’s Lauren Boebert, supported the expulsion petition to promote the Epstein File Transparency Act. Meanwhile, President Donald Trump, who has backed Massie’s opponent in Kentucky, referred to Massie as an “idiot” during his National Prayer Breakfast address last week.
