Don McLean Celebrates 10-Year Anniversary with Paris Dylan
Don McLean recently marked a significant milestone in his relationship, sharing a heartfelt message for his partner on social media.
The 80-year-old singer posted a picture of himself alongside 31-year-old Paris (Dan) Dylan on Instagram, celebrating their 10th anniversary together. McLean publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2018, two years after they began dating.
“Happy Paris Anniversary,” McLean shared. “We’ve been together for over a decade, and you are the love of my life.” His partner sweetly responded, “The love of my life,” showcasing their affectionate bond.
The couple made an appearance at a red carpet event during a state dinner hosted by former President Joe Biden for Kenyan President William Ruto in 2024.
Reflecting on his experiences, McLean mentioned how excited he was to be invited to the White House. He had missed previous state dinners due to travel but was happy to attend this one. Interestingly, he noted the governor of Maine was also there, although they didn’t get a chance to meet, which he hopes to change in the future.
In a past interview, McLean expressed how much he admires Dylan, who even inspired the song “Mexicali Girl.” He described her as a “pure-hearted person” and shared how she travels with him, never seeming to tire of his music, despite their many shows.
When discussing their age difference—48 years—McLean seemed unfazed. “As long as she’s happy and I’m happy, we’re just taking it one day at a time,” he said, adding, “Who knows what the future holds?”
