Recently, Nicole Kidman appears to have caught the attention of a new romantic interest just weeks after her divorce from Keith Urban was finalized.
Sources indicate that billionaire businessman Paul Salem is pursuing the 58-year-old star of “Baby Girl.” TMZ reported this on Monday.
Salem, who holds the position of Chairman of the Board at MGM Resorts International, seems to be keen on Kidman and has expressed his interest to friends, according to insiders.
Kidman and the 62-year-old Salem are said to have mutual friends and have encountered each other at group events on a couple of occasions. However, sources clarify that they are not in a romantic relationship and have not spent any time alone together.
Like Kidman, Salem has also gone through a divorce, having split from his ex-wife Navin Salem in 2021.
Representatives for Kidman did not provide a comment when contacted for information.
Reports about Salem’s affections for Kidman surfaced just a month after she and Urban finalized their divorce on January 6. The couple, who got married in June 2006, announced their split in September 2025.
A source mentioned then that sometimes relationships end on their own and highlighted that Kidman was making efforts to salvage their marriage.
She officially filed for divorce on September 30, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
Salem has two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, from a previous relationship.
Kidman is reportedly focused on family time, enjoying moments with her daughters. A friend shared that she is feeling optimistic about the new year and has several projects lined up professionally.
Meanwhile, Urban has been linked to guitarist Maggie Boe, 25, and rising country singer Carly Scott Collins since the split.
While romance rumors surrounding Urban were largely dismissed by acquaintances of Collins, there are claims that Urban has begun living with a new partner.
A source suggested that this shift in Urban’s life has led to their daughters showing support for their mother, hinting at a dynamic where family ties remain strong despite the changes.
