Klay Thompson may not have made the All-Star roster this year, but it seems the Mavericks guards shouldn’t be too upset about it.
While taking a break from basketball, the four-time champion whisked his girlfriend, Megan Thee Stallion, away on a tropical vacation. Over the weekend, the rapper shared on social media that they were quite content skipping out on the festivities happening in Inglewood, California.
Megan, it appears, had a great time. She posted several pictures of herself in a revealing bikini, showcasing moments of relaxation, like yacht time on Valentine’s Day.
When they returned from their getaway, Megan mentioned that Thompson surprised her with a luxury Bentley for her birthday, which she celebrated just a day after Valentine’s.
In an Instagram post, she shared her mixed feelings about the trip ending, expressing, “Oh no I wasn’t ready for this birthday trip to end 🥹. It was a great time🏝️🍹🥳 Thank you baby⚓️”.
The couple went public with their relationship last summer and have been pretty much inseparable ever since.
They’ve shared glimpses into their lives together, going on various outings, including one memorable evening out and another that involved fishing. Just before their weekend trip, Megan even threw Thompson a birthday party complete with a private concert by Bone Thugs and Harmony.
Thompson will soon be back on the court, as the Mavericks are set to resume play with a game against the Timberwolves after the All-Star break, but it seems they still have a few days to enjoy their time together before basketball takes precedence again.
