Jimmy Kimmel to Headline Fundraiser for House Democrats

Late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel is set to be a special guest at an upcoming fundraiser organized by House Democrats. This event, planned for next month, will be hosted by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, according to a report from Teddy Schleifer with the New York Times.

The fundraiser will take place in Los Angeles on March 10, attracting prominent figures like House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries and former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. Ticket prices are quite steep, ranging from $25,000 to over $300,000.

Two sources familiar with the details, who requested anonymity, confirmed Kimmel’s involvement in the event. Fox News Digital has reached out for comments from both the DCCC and Kimmel’s representatives.

Kimmel has been a longstanding supporter of the Democratic Party, actively participating in various fundraisers to back Democratic candidates. Just last year, he led a similar event in Los Angeles for then-President Joe Biden’s re-election campaign, which featured celebrity guests like George Clooney and Julia Roberts. That event reportedly raised over $30 million.

The occasion received significant attention online, especially when footage showed former President Obama escorting Biden off the stage. Notably, Biden later withdrew from the 2024 presidential race.

Kimmel’s commitment to the Democratic Party continues as he has lent his support to the campaign of former Vice President Kamala Harris. He has publicly endorsed her for the presidency, expressing admiration for her character and dedication to the country.

In addition, Kimmel campaigned for Nevada Sen. Jacky Rosen during a recent event in Las Vegas, showcasing his ongoing engagement with Democratic initiatives.
