Titans May Introduce New Logo
It seems the Titans could be unveiling a new logo soon.
On Thursday, a listing from Fanatics suggested that Tennessee might be getting an updated brand. They were set to release some special footballs showcasing what is described as a new logo—comprising the Titans’ iconic “T” encircled by three stars, done in the retro colors of the Houston Oilers.
However, the listing was later taken down from the Fanatics website.
Currently, the Titans’ logo features that same “T,” but with blue and red flames shooting out from the sides. Interestingly, the team has also started wearing throwback Oilers uniforms this year.
The logo leak sparked a variety of reactions across social media.
One user expressed discontent, calling the supposed new logo “a complete downgrade” and one of the “worst in the NFL.” They urged the team to be more creative, criticizing the idea of just using a simple circle logo.
On the flip side, others were more positive. One commenter mentioned that if this new design replaces the current logo, it could become one of the “best retro logos.”
There was also support for change. Another user claimed that this would be a “massive upgrade,” noting a return to white helmets with blue logos. Notably, former Tennessee offensive lineman Taylor Lewan chimed in as well, showing his approval.
He remarked, “It’s a shame that the flame will go out, but the main light blue color is a huge win,” sharing his thoughts on social media.
If this logo transition happens, it wouldn’t be the only change for Tennessee next season.
After finishing with a disappointing 3-14 record for the second consecutive year, the Titans have almost entirely revamped their coaching staff. They’ve appointed former Jets coach Robert Saleh as the new head coach.
Additionally, recently fired Giants coach Brian Daboll has been brought in to serve as the offensive coordinator, while Gus Bradley is taking charge of the defense.
Looking ahead, the Titans have the No. 4 pick in the 2026 NFL Draft and are eager to enhance their current roster, which is led by 2025’s No. 1 overall pick, Cam Ward. During his rookie year, Ward started all 17 games, throwing for 3,169 yards and achieving 17 overall touchdowns.
