Bradley Bozeman Announces NFL Retirement
Bradley Bozeman, an NFL veteran with eight seasons under his belt, shocked fans by announcing his retirement. The former center for the Los Angeles Chargers shared the news on Instagram, expressing his readiness to embrace the next phase of his life.
In his post, the 31-year-old reflected on the profound impact football has had on him: “This game has given me so much: lessons, lifelong friendships, and memories that my family will carry forever. I put everything I have into this journey, and I return with gratitude and pride.” He also included a photo highlighting his time in the league with the Chargers, Panthers, and Ravens, emphasizing his appreciation for the coaches, teammates, and fans he encountered along the way.
Bozeman expressed heartfelt gratitude towards his family, particularly his three children, as well as his wife, Nikki, whom he described as “unbelievable” and his “ride or die from the start.” He noted, “I couldn’t have done any of this without you!”
Wrapping up his farewell message, Bozeman shared a thought he encountered during his career: “No matter how decorated your career is, it ends up in the garbage bag. The game moves on. Someone will take your place. I’m grateful God gave me that chance.”
The Alabama native began his NFL journey when he was drafted in the sixth round by the Ravens in 2018. He made an immediate impact, appearing in 14 games and earning a starting position at left guard, later transitioning to center. After a stint with the Panthers, he signed with the Chargers in 2025, seeking to revamp their offensive line.
Now, though, Bozeman is ready to step back and enjoy “life on the farm,” signing off with a familiar phrase: “Roll Tide.”
As the Chargers look to rebuild their struggling offensive line, Bozeman’s departure opens the door for potential new recruits, such as former Ravens center Tyler Linderbaum, who could be on their radar.
