Shia LaBeouf is currently dealing with fresh legal issues following a bar fight during Mardi Gras earlier this month.
New Orleans authorities have reportedly issued a warrant for the 39-year-old actor known for “Transformers.” Local reports suggest the latest charge relates to another victim involved in the altercation at R Bar, a popular spot in New Orleans.
Representatives for LaBeouf have yet to respond to inquiries, as has the New Orleans Police Department.
This development comes right after LaBeouf’s arrest on February 17, from which he was released on a $100,000 bail.
As part of his bail conditions, Judge Simone Levine mandated that LaBeouf attend a rehabilitation facility and participate in a drug testing program.
Video from the February 17 incident depicts the actor, who appeared intoxicated, using homophobic slurs before engaging in physical violence, including throwing punches and headbutting one of the individuals involved.
According to the police report, LaBeouf allegedly directed derogatory remarks at the men even after officers arrived on the scene. He reportedly stated, “These charges landed me in prison. I’m a Catholic.”
One victim mentioned to police that he did not wish to fight, but was potentially left with a dislocated nose due to the confrontation.
LaBeouf faces two counts of simple battery in connection with this incident.
Shortly after his release, he was seen partying again at Mardi Gras and appeared to mock his arrest by playfully dancing with paperwork in his mouth.
The following day, photographs surfaced showing LaBeouf preparing for church on Ash Wednesday, seemingly resuming regular activities.
