Kendra Duggar Arrested on Child Endangerment Charges

Kendra Duggar, who is married to former “19 Kids and Counting” star, Joseph Duggar, was arrested last week in Arkansas. She is facing serious charges related to child endangerment and false imprisonment.

The couple, Kendra, 27, and Joseph, 31, were charged on Friday in Washington County. They each face four counts of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor as well as four counts of second-degree false imprisonment, according to reports.

Moreover, Kendra’s husband was apprehended just days earlier, encountering separate allegations in Florida. Joseph is implicated in lewd and lascivious conduct involving a minor, specifically a 14-year-old. She disclosed during an interview that he had molested her multiple times when she was just 9 years old during a family trip to Panama City Beach in 2020.

According to investigators, Joseph Duggar later expressed remorse and ceased the inappropriate behavior. Interestingly, the victim’s father confronted Joseph the day before his arrest, prompting him to admit to his actions during questioning.

The Duggars were married in September 2017 and share four kids together.

This news about their arrests comes on the heels of Josh Duggar’s past troubles. Over a decade ago, he was accused of sexually abusing his sisters, leading to the cancellation of the reality show “19 Kids and Counting.” In 2021, Josh was convicted on charges of receiving and possessing child pornography, and he is currently serving a 12-year sentence.

As for Josh, his attorney mentioned that he hasn’t been in consistent contact with Kendra and Joseph and wishes them well. He also remarked on the heavy burden of being accused, highlighting how such allegations can drastically alter a person’s life.
