Paul McCartney's favorite spots in LA as he prepares for his performance at the Fonda theater

Missed out on tickets to Paul McCartney’s exclusive concert at the Fonda Theater this weekend? Well, don’t fret!

There are still plenty of places in Los Angeles to catch a glimpse of him, a city that has held a special place in his heart.

One top spot to consider is the iconic restaurant “Dan Tana’s”. McCartney paid a visit on April 12, 2024, just a night after his performance at the Hollywood Bowl, which was a tribute to the late Jimmy Buffet.

He seemed to be in the mood for margaritas, as surprised patrons witnessed him leaving his cozy booth to show bartender Nick how to make one—McCartney style.

“He insisted on using fresh orange juice,” shared a regular who ended up chatting with Nick during the mixology lesson. “I told him he was the first Beatle I’d met, besides Ringo—does that count?” The regular recounted with a laugh.

Dan Tana’s offers a classic Italian atmosphere, a change of pace from his usual vegan haunts. He’s been a frequent visitor to Crossroads Kitchen as well.

Recently, he and his wife, Nancy Shevell, were spotted dining at Il Segreto in Bel Air, also enjoying a double date with Ringo Starr and his wife, Barbara Bach.

As for transportation, forget the limousines. McCartney drives his iconic blue Corvette around town. So who knows, you might just find yourself stopped at a red light next to him. He was seen recently cruising through Hollywood Hills and even hiking with Chevelle.

This weekend’s concert at the Fonda Theater is bound to excite Beatles fans. Tickets were distributed to a select group through a lottery, set at $1,600 each, which includes access to the sound check.

For those lucky enough to witness the 83-year-old legend in such an intimate venue with a capacity of just 1,200, it’s indeed a rare opportunity. Attendees must adhere to a strict no-phones policy. By the way, just days ago, McCartney announced a new album titled *The Boys of Dungeon Lane*, expected to drop in May.

McCartney has had intimate performances in LA before. Back in 2007, he surprised fans with a two-hour set at Amoeba Records after discreetly shopping nearby while wearing a baseball cap and glasses—pretty incognito!

Speaking of homes, McCartney has been a resident of Los Angeles for quite some time. He once owned a notable mansion in Beverly Hills on Heather Road, previously owned by Ellen DeGeneres, where fellow Beatle George Harrison passed away.

It was reported that McCartney recently purchased a house in Malibu, particularly a lavish mobile home in Paradise Cove, known for being one of the priciest trailer parks in the U.S. selling for millions.

“Baby, you’re rich!”
