Actors Across the U.S. Participate in ‘No Kings’ Demonstrations

No Kings Rallies Held Across U.S. Protesting Trump

On Saturday, significant left-leaning figures showed support or promoted “No Kings” rallies in various U.S. cities as demonstrators gathered to voice their dissent against President Donald Trump.

In a video, actress Lea Thompson shared her stance, highlighting slogans such as “equality is not radical” and “health care, not war.” She remarked, “If 3.5% of the population protests peacefully, we can change a dictatorship. That’s just about 12 million people—so we’re close. Maybe we can do it tomorrow.”

Bradley Whitford, from The West Wing, acknowledged he was abroad but encouraged others to utilize their First Amendment rights and attend local protests. He asserted, “I just want to point out that Stephen Miller is a hateful fascist son of a bitch.”

Mark Hamill, known for his role in Star Wars, shared a collection of protest signs on Blue Sky, wishing everyone a happy No Kings Day and thanking participants worldwide for their support.

Rob Delaney from Deadpool 2 posted pictures of himself—one showing a peace sign for protesters, another raising his middle finger to Republicans and “greedy, bigoted cowards.”

Jeri Ryan, from Star Trek: Voyager, mentioned she couldn’t attend due to work obligations but promised to follow the events online and share updates.

Actor Robert Picardo shared, “Resistance is not in vain. #NoKings,” along with a digitally altered image of Trump resembling a character from Star Trek.

Mia Farrow, known for Rosemary’s Baby, announced her intention to attend a rally in New York City, rallying supporters to “make our voices heard” with the chant “No Kings Day!!!”

Barbra Streisand weighed in, criticizing Trump for attaching his name to various institutions, declaring, “He’s not a monarch.” Jamie Lee Curtis expressed the importance of fighting for political parties that adhere to the Constitution, ahead of participating in her local march.

Alex Winter shared his own Kansas City representation while Ethan Embry, set to join the rallies, urged attendees to remain cautious and peaceful, especially given recent violence surrounding King’s Day.

Actor Robert De Niro was spotted at the New York march holding a banner alongside public figures like Letitia James and Al Sharpton. He described feeling disheartened by the daily news cycle, filled with Trump’s antics.

Daryl Hannah posted, “Impeach the imprisonment of the guilty!!” while Jon Cryer was present at gatherings with fellow actors, sharing insights from his participation.

Morgan Fairchild and Ed Begley Jr. joined forces on a walk for the protests, with Fairchild expressing her support on social media. Bill Nye the Science Guy, addressing attendees in Philadelphia, criticized the administration’s actions as an abuse of power, arguing it disregards tradition.
