New Designs Unveiled for the Future Donald J. Trump Presidential Library as a Tribute to a Remarkable Individual

First Look at the Proposed Trump Presidential Library in Miami

The initial images of the proposed Donald J. Trump Presidential Library in Miami were unveiled late Monday, showcasing a long-anticipated project aimed at preserving and educating the public about the legacy of the 45th and 47th U.S. president.

In a 100-second video posted by Eric Trump, who is the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, viewers were shown the concept design for the planned library dedicated to his father. This video offers a glimpse into various spaces designed to narrate Trump’s journey to the presidency and his tenure in office. The architectural design is being developed by the Florida-based firm Bermelo Ajamil & Partners Co., Ltd., and is described as a “landmark” to be situated along Miami’s waterfront.

“For the past six months, I have poured my heart and soul into this project with my amazing team at @Trump. This landmark on the water in Miami, Florida will be a lasting testament to a great man, a great developer, and the greatest president our country has ever known,” Eric Trump mentioned in his post. “These images have never been released to the general public until today. Enjoy!”

The video depicts a rich collection of tributes to President Trump’s anticipated legacy. It features a grand entrance to the skyscraper project, which is near a marina, complete with palm trees and a statue of the Presidential Seal. Inside, there will be a large vestibule showcasing a plane believed to have been used as Air Force One, alongside a VH-92A helicopter and a fighter jet, presumed to be used as Marine One. A tall golden statue of Trump is also part of the design. Escalators, adorned in his favored golden tones, will grant visitors elevated views and access to the upper floors of the library. Notable features like the West Wing colonnade designed by Trump, the Rose Garden, a replica of the Oval Office, and the State Ballroom are also included, offering interesting spots for visitors interested in learning more about the prominent New York real estate figure who served two terms as president.

The Presidential Library Act, enacted by Congress in 1955, established a system of private libraries overseen by the federal government, encouraging presidents to donate historical materials for preservation. Later, the 1986 Presidential Libraries Act mandated the use of private donations to help maintain each facility.

Currently, the Donald J. Trump Presidential Library operates as a digital entity managed by the National Archives and Records Administration, having started on January 20, 2021, which was the final day of Trump’s first term. It provides public access to records from the 45th president. Trump, now serving two non-consecutive terms, will continue to gather official records for potential exhibition as the library’s construction progresses.

In comparison, Joe Biden’s presidential library is still in the planning and financing phase and will be based in Delaware. Barack Obama’s library is set to open in Chicago on June 18, 2026, while George W. Bush’s library was dedicated in Dallas in April 2013. His father, George H.W. Bush, had his library dedicated in November 1997 in College Station, Texas, and Bill Clinton’s library opened in November 2004 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
