Megan Thee Stallion Hospitalized During Broadway Performance

Megan Thee Stallion experienced a health scare during her performance in “Moulin Rouge! The Musical” on Broadway, which led to her hospitalization.

A representative shared, “During the show on Tuesday night, Megan became quite unwell and was taken to a local hospital for evaluation.” They promised to provide updates as more information becomes available.

The Grammy-winning artist made her Broadway debut as Ziddler on March 24 at the Al Hirschfeld Theater in New York.

Lauren Lollosa, a media personality who attended the performance, provided a live update on her experience. She wrote, “I came to see Megan on Broadway, but it was cut short. The opening scene was exhilarating, but then the performance was halted, and the audience was asked to take a seat.” She noted that they assured attendees, “We’ll keep you posted if anything changes.”

Megan is set to play the role of Ziddler until May 17, which is quite a commitment.

Interestingly, Megan is making history as the first female to portray this role in any version of “Moulin Rouge!” around the globe. She expressed her excitement back in February, stating, “Performing on Broadway is a tremendous honor. It’s a new avenue for me, and I’m eager to embrace it.”

She also mentioned the unique challenges of Broadway, saying, “It calls for a different level of discipline and storytelling, but I’m ready for it and can’t wait for my fans to see this new aspect of my artistry.”

The show’s producer, Carmen Pavlovich, praised the significance of her joining the cast, calling it a thrilling moment, emphasizing her influence in music and culture.

Overall, the anticipation surrounding her performance continues, especially with hints that some of her iconic music might be incorporated into the show. It’s definitely a moment fans won’t want to miss.
