Quick moments and stylish vehicles at the Auto Show in New York

For the next week, the Jacob Javits Center turns into an extraordinary venue for car enthusiasts.

Unique cars from across the globe are gathering, flaunting price tags in the millions and capable of speeds over 200 miles per hour. The New York International Auto Show, established in the early 1900s, is recognized as the largest automotive event in the U.S.

With their eye-catching designs, polished exteriors, and state-of-the-art performance, around 700 innovative vehicles are drawing in thousands of fans. Here’s a look at some notable entries.

Most Futuristic Supercar

Zenvo Aurora Agil V12: $3 million

In the realm of hypercars, known for their hefty price tags and incredible speeds, the Zenvo Aurora Agil V12 is a standout. Made in Denmark with a limited run of just 50 cars, it won’t be hitting the market until next year, but showgoers can catch a glimpse now.

Jens Sverdrup, Zenvo’s executive chairman, expressed, “Many hypercar manufacturers miss the mark with performance that is not practical for everyday driving.” He mentioned the Agil’s impressive top speeds while also acknowledging its “quiet mode,” allowing owners to drive discreetly when needed.

Car with the Highest G-Forces

2026 Lamborghini Temerario: $600,000

Accelerating from 0 to 60 mph in just 2.6 seconds, the Lamborghini Temerario boasts a hybrid engine that offers a thrilling ride with up to 1.7 G-forces. The real thrill comes when engaging the drift mode, which allows for controlled sliding. Anthony Perez from Lamborghini Greenwich recalled his own drifting experience as both exhilarating and slightly chaotic.

Most Expensive Used Car

2019 Koenigsegg Regera: $3 million

The 2019 Koenigsegg Regera stands out as one of the most valuable cars at the show, especially as it has appreciated over time. Alexei Katkov from Manhattan Motor Cars shared that this special edition car, hand-built in Sweden, can reach speeds of 255 mph but is limited to that for safety. Notably, a unique design element embodies the essence of Sweden’s aviation heritage.

SUV for Billionaire Dads

Rolls Royce Cullinan: $509,000

The Rolls Royce Cullinan is designed with luxury and comfort in mind, aimed at ultra-high-net-worth families. Katkov described the rear seating as exceptionally comfortable, highlighting features like massage functions and plush carpeting. The inclusion of foldable chairs for outdoor relaxation adds a unique touch, making it akin to traveling in a private jet.

Power Performer

Bentley Supersport: $486,000

In contrast to emerging hybrids, the 2026 Bentley Supersport sticks to traditional gasoline, boasting performance focused on pure enjoyment. “This is not a hybrid. It’s all about maximized performance,” Katkov explained, emphasizing the tactile experience of driving something that connects you to the road.

Loudest Electric Car

Hyundai Ioniq 5: $35,000

Electric cars are often known for their silence, but the Hyundai Ioniq 5 adds a twist by incorporating sound effects to mimic a roaring race car. Derek Joyce from Hyundai stated, “We aimed to bring excitement back into driving, emphasizing the audible and tactile sensations one experiences while behind the wheel.” The vehicle even offers a setting that mimics the sound of a “supersonic fighter jet.”
