Kristi Noem's husband cross-dressing controversy gets attention on SNL

“Saturday Night Live” Takes Aim at Bryon Noem

Recently, “Saturday Night Live” threw shade at Bryon Noem, husband of former Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, following the emergence of photos showcasing him in cross-dressing attire with exaggerated breast props and suggestions linking him to a specific fetish scene.

During the show’s “Weekend Update,” comedian Sarah Sherman portrayed a fictional First Gentleman from South Dakota, complete with a gray wig, oddly positioned balloon breasts, and pink biker shorts.

“I want everyone to find one funny thing about this whole situation,” Sherman remarked while joking around with hosts Michael Che and Colin Jost.

She playfully pointed out, “Hey, Michael? My eyes are here. My nipples are here,” which led Che to tease her about her amusing outfit.

Moreover, Sherman questioned if Che might embarrass her on national television about her outlandish outfit before comically shaking her fake breasts.

In a segment aimed at a perceived “liberal” audience, Sherman celebrated her “bulk of conservative guys,” using terms like “bimbo bazonga” and “big chumbawumba.”

As the skit unfolded, Sherman made a nod to Kristi Noem, asking, “My wife, Kristi Noem, do you have anything to add about my sweater puppy?” This led to a response from cast member Ashley Padilla, who assumed the role of Noem, holding a shotgun and referencing a past incident from Noem’s memoir about shooting her own dog.

Che, continuing the banter, exclaimed, “Your wife is so terrible that this whole thing is just fun for us,” to which Sherman agreed, saying, “Oh, I know.”

This satirical segment aired shortly after reports surfaced that Bryon, who has been married to Kristi for 35 years, was communicating with a fetish model online, allegedly for “sex appeal.” A photo circulated depicting him in a revealing crop top with what seemed to be a stuffed balloon underneath.

In light of these revelations, Kristi reported feeling “blindsided.” Additionally, Bryon reportedly sent over $25,000 to a fetish webcam model through Cash App and PayPal, sparking fears of potential blackmail against the couple.

President Trump mentioned he would feel “bad” if the Noem family was unaware of the situation surrounding Bryon.
