Stassi Schroeder Critiques Amanda Batula’s Secret Romance

Stassi Schroeder recently expressed her disapproval of Amanda Batula’s clandestine relationship with ‘Summer House’ co-star West Wilson.

On her podcast “Stassi with Tay,” Schroeder shared her feelings, saying, “I was friends with Amanda once. It’s been a while since we’ve seen each other, but I always thought we had a good friendship.” Her commentary came out on Wednesday.

Schroeder acknowledged it felt “strange” to discuss the scandal since she and Batula had been friends for years. Nonetheless, she didn’t hold back from stating that Batula was “very wrong” in this situation.

She remarked, “There’s no way to defend her. It’s unfortunate.” Schroeder then emphasized that this incident shouldn’t define Batula as a person.

However, she mentioned that Batula’s behavior around men has raised concerns. “It really bothers me,” she elaborated.

Schroeder described Batula as having an “obsession with men,” suggesting that even if those men were already in relationships, Batula still sought their attention. “She seems to need that validation, and I think that’s what led her to West,” she stated.

In her remarks, the “Vanderpump Rules” alum felt it was “awful” for the focus to be solely on Batula rather than Wilson, noting, “The bigger betrayal is friendship,” while referring to Ciara Miller, who is Batula’s close friend and had previously dated Wilson.

Schroeder labeled Wilson a “loser” and mentioned that she believed Batula’s estranged husband, Kyle Cook, would ultimately be okay. Yet, her primary worry was about Miller.

She drew a parallel to her own experience when her former best friend Kristen Doute got involved with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Jax Taylor, likening it to the infamous “Scandoval” from Season 2 of “Vanderpump Rules.”

As for the pair at the center of the drama, Batula and Wilson officially revealed their secret romance on March 31 after weeks of conjecture.

Since the news broke, several celebrities have expressed their opinions, generally siding with Ciara.

Recently, Batula issued an apology via Instagram Story, addressing the backlash she’s faced. “I want to sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve disappointed or hurt,” she wrote.

Although she didn’t name Miller directly, she expressed remorse to “people I know personally who have contacted me.” Batula mentioned that for her mental well-being, she aims to find some normalcy in her life amidst the turmoil. “If you see me out or on social media, know that this still heavily weighs on me,” she said.

She further confirmed, “I am fully aware of what’s happening and how things are unfolding,” and added, “I will be attending the reunion.” As of now, Wilson has remained silent following their shocking announcement.
