Assault Charges Against Lindsay Chrisley’s Boyfriend

In light of this incident, Chrisley is seeking a restraining order against Landsman due to what she describes as a troubling pattern of violence. She has reportedly contacted the Cherokee Family Violence Center to secure a temporary protective order. Their relationship, which has lasted about two years, involved frequent stays at each other’s homes.
The altercation was said to stem from a minor disagreement during dinner on April 9. It appears Chrisley showed Landsman a photo on her phone that he mistakenly thought was of another man. Documents indicate that this led to a heated verbal confrontation, but he later apologized upon realizing it was a picture of himself.
After returning home, Chrisley informed Landsman that she wanted to put some distance between them and intended to leave. The situation escalated; according to the affadavit, he allegedly strangled her multiple times, even lifting her off the ground while she pleaded for him to stop.
In the chaos, Chrisley stated that she tried to escape and ended up in a struggle where she punched Landsman to break free. At one point, she claimed he grabbed her throat again and forced her outside, causing her to fall and sustain an injury that resulted in visible bleeding.
Police were called to the scene around 1 a.m. on April 10. Chrisley, who hosts the podcast Southern Tea, is also known as the daughter of Todd Chrisley, a reality TV figure who was recently pardoned along with his wife after serving time for tax evasion and bank fraud.
