The latest mock draft suggests that both the Giants and Jets will secure significant defensive talent, along with promising wide receivers Jackson Dart and Geno Smith, in what appears to be a highly unpredictable NFL Draft.
This coming Thursday, we’re looking at no fewer than nine offensive linemen expected in the first round, and quite notably, four players from Ohio State making their way into the top ten.
In a surprising turn, quarterback Ty Simpson has found himself in the first round due to a couple of trades.
1. Las Vegas Raiders
QB Fernando Mendoza (Indiana)
It seems Tom Brady might finally experience less embarrassment watching Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, and Bo Nix compete against each other twice annually.
2. New York Jets
Edge David Bailey, Texas Tech
The debate wraps up with Darren Mousey and Aaron Glenn choosing a strong pass rusher, while Will McDonald sets his sights on quarterbacks like Josh Allen and Drake Maye.
3. Arizona Cardinals
RB Jeremiah Love, Notre Dame
This top pick could sell plenty of tickets in a challenging year for him, particularly if the team doesn’t sort out their quarterback situation. GM Monty Ossenfort might be open to trading down to a team, possibly the Chiefs or Saints, that has its eyes on Arvel Reese.
4. Tennessee Titans
LB/Edge Arbel Reese, Ohio State
If only Robert Saleh could unleash this elite defensive asset, it could have been a nightmare for opposing offenses alongside Jeffery Simmons and Jermaine Johnson.
5. New York Giants
Caleb Downs, Ohio
Under John Harbaugh’s guidance, this player shows potential to cultivate a strong team culture and could become an influential leader, provided he’s still on the board when it’s their turn.
6. Cleveland Browns
WR Colonel Tate, Ohio State
With new head coach Todd Monken, he seems to be a favorite first pick, alongside Deshaun Watson and Shedule Sanders. Is there interest in Sonny Styles and Jerry Jones?
7. Washington Commanders
LB Sonny Stiles, Ohio State University
Dan Quinn has his eyes on this versatile 6-4, 244-pound player, who fills the gap left by Bobby Wagner. He’s been compared to Fred Warner by former 49ers GM Adam Peters.
8. New Orleans Saints
CB Mansour Delane, LSU
With Kool-Aid McKinstry and DC Brandon Staley, they’re looking to replace Arontay Taylor with a swift 4.35 speed corner.
9. Kansas City Chiefs
Edge Reuben Bane Jr., Miami (Florida)
While DC Steve Spagnuolo may be working his magic, he must still harness this relentless athlete alongside Chris Jones.
10. New York Giants
WR Jordyn Tyson, Arizona State
This athletic 6-2, 203-pound player seems like a great addition for Jackson Dart, hopefully, he can stay on the field.
11. Miami Dolphins
TG Francis Mauigoa, Miami (Florida)
A herniated disc might cause him to drop, yet rookie GM John-Eric Sullivan and coach Jeff Hafley are rebuilding. If he recovers well, they may just wait for a favorable outcome with the top offensive lineman.
12. Dallas Cowboys
S Dillon Thieneman, Oregon State
This 6-0, 201-pound player could take on roles similar to Nick Emanwori under the guidance of new DC Christian Parker.
13. Los Angeles Rams
WR KC Concepcion, Texas A&M
He’s expected to offer explosive speed, complementing Puka Nacua and Davante Adams while also contributing in return situations for Stafford’s push towards the Super Bowl.
14. Baltimore Ravens
OL Spencer Fano, Utah
With LT Ronnie Stanley aging, upgrading the interior line becomes essential, especially as new potential stars emerge in the division. He’s likely to succeed C. Tyler Linderbaum.
15. Philadelphia Eagles (from Tampa Bay Buccaneers)
T. Monroe Freeling, Georgia
With RT Lane Johnson approaching 36, this promising 6-7, 315-pounder could be an ideal natural LT for the future.
16. New York Jets
WR Makai Lemon, USC
While he may not be as dazzling as Amon-Ra St. Brown, he should provide solid support for Geno Smith and lighten the load for Garrett Wilson.
17. Detroit Lions
T. Kadin Proctor, Alabama
Dan Campbell probably intends to keep this impressive 6-7, 352-pound player well away from distractions, as he’s needed to replace LT Taylor Decker and boost the offensive line.
18. Minnesota Vikings
TE Kenyon Sadik, Oregon State
As TJ Hockenson nears free agency in 2027, this 6-3, 240-pound tight end with a blazing 4.39 speed is an exciting prospect.
19. Carolina Panthers
T. Blake Miller, Clemson
With LT Icky Ekwonu recovering from injury and RT Taylor Morton aging, this 6-7, 317-pounder offers durable protection for Bryce Young.
20. Dallas Cowboys
DE Keldrick Faulk, Auburn
This promising 6-6, 276-pound player has the potential to hone his skills into a solid pass rusher.
21. Pittsburgh Steelers
G Vega Ioane, Pennsylvania
Roger Goodell’s pick for Aaron Rodgers is likely to create quite the buzz in the city—maybe even more exciting than a vacation in Egypt. Imagine a guy who intimidates with his fearlessness.
22. Los Angeles Chargers
CB Colton Hood, Tennessee
With Donte Jackson hitting free agency in 2027, Jim Harbaugh opts for this 6-0, 193-pound corner with impressive speed.
23. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (from Philadelphia Eagles)
Edge Achim Mesidor, Miami (Florida)
After leading the team in sacks, there might be some changes on the defensive front, and Todd Bowles might rely on fresh talent.
24. Cleveland Browns
LT Caleb Lom, Utah
As Monken shifts his focus to bolstering the offensive line, this athletic 6-3, 313-pound player could prove essential on the blind side.
25. Chicago Bears
DT Peter Woods, Clemson
A formidable presence that could significantly impact battles against strong running backs.
26. Buffalo Bills
Edge Malachi Lawrence, UCF
This speedy 6-4, 253-pound edge rusher could provide a big boost alongside Greg Rousseau.
27. San Francisco 49ers
WR Omar Cooper Jr., Indiana
Kyle Shanahan adds a dynamic player capable of making big plays while ensuring depth in the receiving corps.
28. Houston Texans
T Max Iheanakor, Arizona
With an emphasis on rebuilding the offensive line, this 6-5, 322-pound tackle from Nigeria presents promising potential.
29. Kansas City Chiefs
CB Jermod McCoy, Tennessee
With the need to replace key cornerbacks, there are concerns about his injury history, but the Chiefs are in a win-now mindset.
30. Miami Dolphins
CB Chris Johnson, San Diego State University
This strategic 6-0 ½, 193-pound corner could step in immediately with versatile capabilities.
31. New England Patriots
Edge TJ Parker, Clemson
This powerful rusher has the physical traits reminiscent of coach Mike Vrabel, stepping up after a key player leaves.
32. Arizona Cardinals (from Seattle Seahawks)
QB Ty Simpson (Alabama)
Rookie coach Mike LaFleur plans to develop this QB behind Jacoby Brissett, preparing for any uncertainties that may arise.
