Tennessee Representative Tim Burchett claims he has viewed UFO images and videos that challenge reason.

Congressman Burchett Convinced of Alien Existence

Congressman Tim Burchett has expressed his belief in the existence of aliens, claiming to have seen “photos and videos that defy any rationale.” He urged the government to disclose what it knows about extraterrestrial life.

The Republican representative from Tennessee appeared on NewsNation’s “Elizabeth Vargas Report” shortly after President Trump stated that the Pentagon would soon release documents concerning unidentified aerial phenomena.

Burchett noted a noticeable uptick in UFO sightings across the U.S., saying, “These people are out there seeing something.”

“We’ve seen images and videos of things that contradict any logic we have,” he remarked, pointing out that people often attribute these phenomena to man-made sources like the U.S., Russia, or China.

As a member of the House Select Committee on Declassification of Federal Secrets, he dismissed the notion that these sightings could be human technology.

“If this were from China, they would have complete control over us. If it were from Russia, they wouldn’t be struggling in Ukraine,” he explained.

Burchett emphasized that if these objects were human-made, especially American, the government would never endanger its own citizens by having them pilot these crafts.

“If it were our technology, we wouldn’t risk deploying a $500 million plane against something the military has discovered,” he said during the interview.

He went on to describe the capabilities of these unidentified crafts, stating they could hover for extended periods and then make sharp ascents.

Burchett recounted a concerning conversation with an admiral who spoke of a spacecraft detected underwater that was “more than 200 miles per hour” and comparable in size to a football field.

“We don’t have anything like that,” he stated firmly.

He called for transparency from the government regarding its knowledge of these phenomena. “We need to put this out there and let people decide for themselves. I believe Americans can handle it,” he said.

Burchett criticized the government’s reluctance to share this information, attributing it to arrogance and a desire for control over the narrative in Washington, D.C.

His remarks followed President Trump’s comments at a recent rally in Phoenix, Arizona, where he mentioned that intriguing documents from the Pentagon regarding UFOs would soon be released.

“I have to say we found a lot of very interesting documents,” Trump said, indicating that the initial release was imminent.

Earlier this year, Trump had promised to unveil government files on extraterrestrial life and UFOs, reflecting the growing public interest, especially after former President Obama suggested the possibility of alien existence.

Interest in unidentified aerial phenomena has surged lately, with Congress passing the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act and the Department of Defense launching the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office in 2023 to investigate these incidents more thoroughly.
