Shake Shack is rolling out some bold and spicy additions to its summer menu.
Among these is the BBQ Boneless Baby Back Rib Sandwich, touted as a “first-of-its-kind” for the chain, featured in their Smoky BBQ summer collection.
Starting April 28th, the menu will also include new sandwiches and a mac & cheese side. This marks a continuation of the beloved barbecue items previously offered at Shake Shack.
The sandwich itself boasts 100% boneless baby back pork ribs on a toasted potato bun, complemented by Shake Shack’s signature BBQ sauce, coleslaw, and pickles—all for $12.99.
The baby back ribs are sourced fresh, hand-deboned, and slow-cooked for nine hours, seasoned with a unique blend of spices and apple cider vinegar, aiming to embody the essence of classic backyard barbecues, according to the company.
This dish draws inspiration from the popularity of ribs and a genuine love for barbecue culture, focusing on the craft that goes into making them.
John Karangis, the executive chef at Shake Shack, commented on the return of the Smoky BBQ menu. He emphasized the care and tradition associated with great barbecue, underscoring the commitment to using top-quality ingredients.
