Jordon Hudson mocks CBS in cheerleading post after being 'crushed'

Jordon Hudson Reflects on Bill Belichick’s Interview Fallout

Jordon Hudson took to Instagram on Monday to mark the one-year anniversary of Bill Belichick’s infamous interview on “CBS Morning.” It seems like quite the milestone, really.

Hudson, who is 25 and dating a football coach in North Carolina, shared her feelings about that period, describing how she felt “cracked by the weight of the world” following Belichick’s interruption during the interview, which drew significant media scrutiny.

“Last April 27, I went to bed weighed down by the weight of the world,” Hudson wrote in her post. It included a cheerful image from a recent cheer competition with Code Black, an adult coed cheer team.

“On April 27th of this year, I woke up on it. 🌎🥇💍,” she added, perhaps indicating a sense of relief or rebirth.

Hudson included a snapshot of Belichick’s interview, zooming in on his face during the tense moment.

She also posted a picture of herself celebrating after her Code Black team secured back-to-back L6 International Open co-ed non-tumbling titles at Cheerleading World in Florida over the weekend.

Interestingly, Belichick attended the tournament wearing a “CB” hat adorned with a rose, proving his support for Hudson.

“Standing up for Bill the WAG,” she wrote, giving a playful nod to their relationship dynamics.

Following the backlash from the interview, Hudson faced allegations regarding her influence on Belichick’s career. However, she seemed unfazed, stating, “I’ve never really worried about what other people think,” during an interview segment featuring Belichick.

During the “CBS Mornings” episode, Belichick was there to promote his book, “The Art of Winning.” He referred to Hudson as his “idea factory” and “muse of creativity.” Yet, when asked about their initial meeting, the two seemed to sidestep the details, with Hudson acknowledging, “We haven’t talked about it.”

In response to the controversy, Belichick clarified that Hudson, who manages opportunities beyond UNC football, was merely trying to redirect the focus of the interview back to his book, pointing out that CBS only aired a brief excerpt of their longer 35-minute conversation.

Hudson and Belichick made their relationship public in June 2024 after first crossing paths on a plane in 2021.
