Major Cargo Theft Ring Exposed in Southern California

A recent raid on a warehouse in Southern California has uncovered a multi-million dollar cargo theft operation, unexpectedly tying former Fox News host Tucker Carlson to the incident.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department conducted the raid on April 13 at a facility located on 46th Street in Vernon, where they confiscated about $4 million worth of stolen goods.

What they discovered inside was quite astonishing.

Authorities revealed images of a variety of stolen items, including a significant number of flat-screen televisions, heaps of sneakers, printers, speakers, skin care products, household items, and electronics. Among these were also cooling devices typically used in data centers.

Most notably, they found hundreds of thousands of nicotine pouches connected to Carlson’s ALP brand.

This specific haul is linked to a dramatic hijacking that occurred in March, which had severe implications for Carlson’s business. Over 378,000 cans of ALP Drifter nicotine pouches vanished after being picked up by a driver who seemed legitimate and had convincing ID. The cargo was en route to Kentucky when the truck lost communication.

Investigators suspect that the tracking system might have been tampered with.

In an intriguing twist, a substantial portion of the missing cargo has resurfaced in Vernon. Sheriff’s Sergeant David Pantoja confirmed that the nicotine pouches found matched those from the stolen consignment.

Carlson’s company has been working hard to get answers since the bold theft. An ALP spokesperson took to social media in March to confirm the incident, announcing a hefty $100,000 reward for information. “Unfortunately, this is true. The truck carrying the ALP Drifters has been stolen,” they wrote.

So far, only one suspect has been arrested on charges related to receiving stolen property, though his identity has not been disclosed.

Authorities suggest the warehouse was part of a larger scheme involving organized retail theft and trailer hijackings that have been increasing across Southern California. Photos from inside the warehouse showed boxes stacked high, featuring brands like ALP Drifter Nicotine, Foot Locker, Epson, DeepCool AI, Renkus-Heinz, and Medicube.
