Rumors of Romance Between Eagles Cornerback and Cowboys Cheerleader

It seems we’re witnessing a modern-day Montague and Capulet scenario with Eagles cornerback Cooper DeJean and Cowboys cheerleader Abby Summers, who have been rumored to be seeing each other. Their connection appears to have grown stronger, especially after they were spotted together at the Kentucky Derby this past weekend, which might confirm the budding romance amid the rivalry.

The first whispers about their relationship emerged back in March, when DeJean and Summers were seen attending an Elite Eight game between Iowa and Illinois, Iowa being DeJean’s alma mater. Fast forward to Saturday, and Summers shared a quick video on TikTok showcasing their outfits for the Derby, simply captioned, “It’s derby time.”

As they arrived at Churchill Downs, they were photographed on the red carpet along with a few friends. The TikTok video sparked a lot of reactions, with some of Summers’ fellow cheerleaders seemingly giving their thumbs up to the pairing. One teammate, Kleine Powell, even cheekily referred to the day as “hard launch day” in a comment.

Another teammate, McKenna Gehrke, expressed excitement by saying, “I’ve been waiting for this!!!” while Ariel Brumfield noted their cuteness. Yet, despite all the speculation, neither DeJean nor Summers has officially addressed their relationship status, opting for silence during the initial post-NCAA basketball buzz.

This wasn’t the first time DeJean’s personal life caught public attention. Previously, he was linked to 42-year-old WWE star Nikki Bella after they were spotted together at Eagles training camp last summer. He later described her as a “good friend” in a conversation with Kay Adams on “Up & Adams.”
