LaVar Ball’s Comeback on the Court
LaVar Ball is still on his journey of adaptation.
Just a little over a year after having part of his right leg amputated, the founder of the Big Baller Brand has proven he can still make an impact on the basketball court.
In a recent video posted on his Instagram, LaVar, father to LaMelo, Lonzo, and Jello Ball, is seen making a series of impressive shots, showcasing his skills in front of a famous basketball trainer known as Lethal Shooter.
The video captures LaVar training intensely, sinking basket after basket while engaging in playful banter with the coach.
Dressed in a “Greatness Takes the Ball” shirt and sporting black shorts along with his prosthetic leg, LaVar confidently stated, “I don’t get tired,” emphasizing that hitting those shots was “my job.”
At the end of the clip, he even celebrated his efforts with a little dance.
“LaVar Ball got it!” wrote Lethal Shooter, also known as Chris Matthews, in the video’s description. “2 hours of training, no excuses!”
LaVar was once a remarkable athlete until early 2025, when he had his leg removed due to complications from diabetes. The 58-year-old, who even joked about wanting to “kill Michael Jordan” in a one-on-one game, has definitely faced some changes since then. But one thing is clear: his dedication to the game remains intact.
