Video: Stefon Diggs' Assault Accuser Says They Had a Sexual Relationship Before She Became His Personal Chef

Testimony in Assault Case Against NFL Player Stefon Diggs

The woman accusing NFL wide receiver Stefon Diggs of assault shared in a Massachusetts court that she previously had a sexual relationship with him before taking on the role of his personal chef.

Jamila Adams testified on Monday that her communication with Diggs began over four years ago through Instagram.

Adams described their relationship as “complicated,” indicating they transitioned from friends to lovers.

In February 2025, after they had been intimate for a period, Diggs offered her a position as a live-in chef with a pay of $2,000 per week. Adams stated that she had specialized recovery skills that Diggs needed as he was recuperating from an injury. According to her, she lived in Diggs’ house from July to December.

However, tensions arose in late November when a friend of Diggs’ child’s mother alleged that Adams was spreading rumors about Diggs being involved with another staff member named Lindsay.

Adams testified that Diggs confronted her due to suspicions regarding the rumor. She also noted that Lindsay was not pleased about her living in Diggs’ house.

It seems Diggs reacted by restricting her ability to join him on a planned trip to Miami.

Adams was supposed to go to Miami with Diggs’ girlfriend, Cardi B, but she alleged that she voiced concerns to Diggs.

This dispute escalated to allegations of assault, which Adams claimed caused her such fear that she experienced physical distress, including urination and bleeding related to her menstrual cycle.

Feeling unsafe, Adams packed her belongings and left, forgetting a birthday gift she had purchased for Diggs. She mentioned not disclosing the alleged assault to other employees, likely due to their past sexual involvement.

The incident was eventually reported to the police, but prior to that, she had deleted some messages exchanged with Diggs out of concern for how others might perceive the situation.

Diggs faces charges of strangulation and suffocation, as well as assault and battery among other felonies for the incident that occurred on December 2 at his home. He has pleaded not guilty to these charges.
