Judge Publishes Suspected Suicide Note of Jeffrey Epstein

Epstein’s Suicide Note Released by Federal Judge

A federal judge released a suicide note purportedly written by convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Wednesday, after it had been sealed for several years.

In the note, Epstein allegedly hints at his innocence, expressing a desire to “say goodbye” on his own terms. He opens with, “They searched me for a month and found nothing!!!”, claiming that the charges against him trace back 15 years.

The note goes on to state, “We are so happy to be able to choose the time to say goodbye.” He adds, “There’s something I want you to do, but please cry!! It’s not going to be fun.”

It concludes with the emphatic line, “Not worth it!!!” underlined for emphasis.

According to reports, Epstein’s cellmate, Nicholas Tartaglione, found the note after Epstein was discovered unresponsive with a cloth around his neck. Epstein passed away at the Metropolitan Correctional Center in Lower Manhattan.

The memo was made public by Judge Kenneth M. Karas of the U.S. District Court in White Plains, New York, following a request from the New York Times. The court unsealed the document last Thursday, correlating with the Times’ publication of an article where Tartaglione discussed how he came across the note.

The Times has not verified the authenticity of the memo, which was part of court documents released the same evening. The memo reportedly emphasizes that Epstein “cries out,” mirroring phrases he has used in previous communications.

The release of the memo followed the Justice Department’s distribution of millions of pages related to Epstein. Tartaglione, who described finding the note within a graphic novel, recounted, “I opened the book to read it and it was there.”

At the time, Epstein had claimed Tartaglione attacked him and insisted he was not suicidal, a statement Tartaglione has consistently refuted.

It appears this memo has been entangled within a prolonged legal dispute concerning Tartaglione, according to sources. The filing indicated that documents linked to this matter had been sealed to maintain attorney-client privilege.
