Knicks Go 2-0 in NBA Playoffs, but Party Crashers Get Rejected
The New York Knicks have taken a commanding 2-0 lead against the Philadelphia 76ers in the NBA Playoffs. However, that success didn’t extend to their social plans.
After securing a win on Monday, multiple Knicks players attempted to join an exclusive afterparty hosted by Madonna and Sabrina Carpenter at Zero Bond, a members-only venue in NoHo. Unfortunately for them, their night took a turn when they were stopped at the entrance.
Reports indicate that the players were turned away, unable to get through the velvet rope. Even after a big playoff victory, a staff member with an iPad simply said, “Not tonight,” leaving them disappointed.
Given the Knicks’ recent performance, where they made history by winning three playoff games by over 25 points, it’s understandable why they would expect an easy entry. You’d think after such a monumental game, getting into an afterparty would be a slam dunk.
The guest list was strictly limited to about 200 people, making it a tight-knit affair. Despite their fame and recent success, the Knicks didn’t make the cut. Once the venue hit capacity, security was resolute about keeping it exclusive.
This situation might make one wish they had a celebrity connection—maybe having Timothée Chalamet on speed dial could’ve helped.
Regardless of the post-game rejection, the Knicks focused on what matters most. They came back to clinch another victory, edging out the 76ers 108-102, heading to Philadelphia with their lead intact.
While they may not have gained entry at Zero Bond, the Knicks still have plenty to celebrate on the court, continuing the playoffs with strong momentum.
