Kamala Harris Makes Waves with Candid Remarks on Iran War

During a recent event in Las Vegas, Kamala Harris found herself in hot water after describing the Iran war with some choice language—actually, she had to metaphorically wash her mouth out with soap afterward.

As she spoke about the ongoing conflict, it seemed like Harris was wrestling with her words. She hesitated before ultimately expressing her frustration through some strong language that definitely caught the audience off guard.

“If you look at this war in Iran that the American people didn’t want, it wasn’t allowed… it shouldn’t have started… he talked about eliminating… everything just…” she began, then paused, and as the crowd encouraged her, she exclaimed, “Bull-!” and burst out laughing.

“You made me do that! I promised I wouldn’t say bad things in public again,” she continued, diving deeper into her thoughts.

She went on, “But what’s happening is… not only are we losing authority, we’re literally getting involved where we’re talking about billions of dollars. When we’re talking about rising gas prices, we’re talking about Americans suffering. And for what? That’s part of how we have to understand how deep this administration’s irresponsibility is.”

Currently, Harris is crisscrossing the country to boost Democratic prospects for the midterm elections. There’s buzz that she might be positioning herself for a presidential run in 2028, especially after her previous defeat by Trump in 2024.

According to a recent poll from the Center for American Political Research and Harris Poll, she leads with 50% support compared to 22% for Governor Gavin Newsom as the preferred Democratic candidate, while Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro trails at 8%.

In addition, she has recently thrown her support behind Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, stating, “Mayor Karen Bass is the leader Los Angeles needs right now. She has done what many said was impossible: reduced homelessness for the first time in history in two years, reduced crime to levels this city hasn’t seen since the 1960s, and not backed down when the federal government came after her neighbors.”
