On February 25, Metallica revealed plans for their 2026-2027 “Life Burns Faster” residency at the Las Vegas Sphere.
Initially, they scheduled just eight concerts for October 2016, featuring four weekends of performances with two unique sets on Thursdays and Saturdays.
However, thanks to incredible demand, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame group has extended the run through March 2027, now totaling 24 concerts at this visually spectacular location.
Now that the initial excitement has worn off, we wondered what the prices might be to catch James, Lars, Kirk, and Robert live.
As it turns out, the cheapest ticket available for a single concert at the Sphere is around $367, including fees. That’s almost $100 cheaper than the last time we checked just a couple of months ago.
If you’re looking to attend two shows during a “No Repeat Weekend,” prices begin at $537, fees included.
Before this residency, Metallica toured globally to promote their 2023 album, M72, performing two shows in most cities.
Fans often heard beloved tracks like “Master of Puppets,” “Seek and Destroy,” “Sad But True,” “Nothing Else Matters,” and “Creeping Death.” The first night featured classics such as “Enter Sandman” and “One,” while the second night included “Ride The Lightning” and “Whiplash.”
After experiencing their first concert in Philadelphia in May 2025, one reviewer noted, “The crowd surged and pulsed with each song like a living, breathing force from which Metallica drew energy.”
With immersive sound, eye-catching visuals on the top-resolution LED display, rumbling seats, and effects like wind and temperature changes, hearing Metallica in the Sphere is something to look forward to.
