Brooks Nader’s Outfit Mishap at FOX Upfront

Brooks Nader encountered a wardrobe snag just moments before a significant event.

The 29-year-old model attended the 2026 FOX Upfront in New York City, promoting her role in the new Baywatch reboot. She almost faced a major fashion emergency on the red carpet.

On her Instagram Stories, Nader shared a mirror selfie showing the back of her dress completely opened, revealing her white lace underwear through the tear. She humorously captioned it, “Take off your dress 4 minutes before showtime!!! Class!,” accompanied by two crying-laughter emojis.

Nader later posted another picture where she was being sewn back into her dress, captioning it, “Four Earth Angels sewed me back into this sucker.”

Eventually, she graced the red carpet in a striking halter-neck red minidress, coordinating with the red outfits of the other “Baywatch” lifeguards. Her accessories were straightforward, and her hair cascaded in loose curls.

In this updated adaptation of the show, Nader portrays Selene, one of the Zuma Beach lifeguard captains. While she expressed excitement about taking on the role, describing it as a “pinch moment,” many fans were less than thrilled about her casting.

Once her casting was announced, critics took to social media, voicing doubts about the choices made for the reboot, with comments labeling it as “influencer casting, not acting,” and branding the project as “terrible” and a “joke.”

Nader addressed the shifting landscape of the entertainment industry, stating, “I think it’s a different time. Everyone is multi-hyphenate now, and you can be an actor or an influencer and have influence.” This sentiment, shared in March, touched on how social media has redefined platforms for everyone. She mentioned that now, voices can resonate that weren’t available during the original show’s airing.

Alongside Nader, influencers Noah Beck and Libby Dunn are set to join the cast, which she believes will ultimately enhance the show.

The original Baywatch series enjoyed an impressive run for 11 seasons from 1989 to 1999, featuring stars like David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson.

When pressed about her suitability for the show, Elektra responded affirmatively, saying, “Yes. Of course. Yes.”
