Ahead of the new season’s launch, Williams shared in an interview with Lee and Laflamme-Snow from The Decider, “I think it’s really cool to give Elliot a mission this season through the search for his mother. It’s exciting to have this focused purpose.” He hopes this journey will offer revelations for viewers, highlighting the growth and hidden struggles of the characters. “Elliot has always been somewhat of a mystery. There’s a layer of pain we haven’t delved into much. It’s great to shed some light on that and bring healing, which the show does really well,” he added.
