Bill Belichick Criticizes CBS for Misleading Editing in 2025 Interview with Girlfriend Jordon Hudson

Bill Belichick, the eight-time Super Bowl-winning coach, is accusing CBS of misrepresenting a 2025 interview that took place while his girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, was present.

“I found the interview to be quite misleading,” Belichick, 74, shared on the Hanging out with Sean Hannity podcast. “I requested the transcript, but they haven’t provided it to me.”

In an interview last year on CBS News Sunday Morning, when Tony Dokoupil questioned Hudson about their relationship, she interjected, saying, “We’re not discussing this.” Hudson is now 25, according to a report by the New York Post.

CBS has stated that Hudson, who was on set during the filming, determined which topics could be explored, but she was not permitted to ask questions of Belichick. Following the broadcast, Hudson faced considerable backlash.

Yet, Belichick maintains that the discussion was intended to focus on his book, The Art of Winning — Lessons from My Life in Football, insisting that the conversation should have revolved around its content. He accused the network of using “selectively edited clips” to craft a “false narrative” regarding the interview.

“While parts of the footage seem to sidestep how we met, I openly stated that Jordon and I first met on a flight to Palm Beach in 2021,” Belichick mentioned in a statement after the interview aired last year.

Belichick expressed to Hannity that he felt CBS breached journalistic ethics during the interview, saying, “I’m a bit puzzled by what they’re claiming, yet I don’t believe they uphold the credibility they should…”

He also noted that it’s not surprising CBS would decline to share a full transcript, suggesting that other organizations have similarly been hindered by transcription requests. “Lately, we’ve been noticing more editing problems, and this isn’t the first time it’s happened,” he remarked to Hannity.

CBS responded, stating, “My conversation with Mr. Belichick was agreed upon as a broad interview. There were no stipulations or restrictions to this dialogue. This was consistently communicated to the publisher both prior to and after the interview.”
