I’ve made my way back to San Antonio.
After a series of competitive games in the Western Conference Finals, Victor Wembanyama’s San Antonio Spurs and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s Oklahoma City Thunder are set to face off at the Frostbank Center in a crucial matchup.
Here are the details:
Game 3
Friday, May 22nd
7:30 PM
Game 4
Sunday, May 24th
7 PM
Last-minute tickets are still available for both games.
Currently, the lowest ticket price SeatGeek found for the games is $338, which includes fees.
Though the ticket prices are high, experts are dubbing this series as “the real NBA Finals,” and it has certainly lived up to the hype.
In Game 1, Wembanyama delivered an extraordinary performance, leading the Spurs to a 122-115 double-overtime victory. The 22-year-old, standing at 7-foot-4, recorded an impressive 41 points along with 24 rebounds. He also made a crucial three-pointer from almost half court to tie the game at 108, pushing it into a second overtime.
Things took a turn in Game 2, though. San Antonio struggled initially, trailing by 11 points at halftime. Although they managed to outscore Oklahoma City in the second half, they ultimately lost 122-113.
“It all comes down to scouting,” Wembanyama said. “I have to trust the scouts. We need to believe in it and put in the effort early. It’s a matter of hard work… It’s not always easy, though. We need to push through.”
Fans attending will receive a Fiesta color t-shirt for Game 3 and a rally towel for Game 4.
Additionally, Taco Palenque offers free tacos every time the Spurs claim a win. How awesome is that?
If you’re interested in seeing Wembanyama, along with other notable players, in action at home, we’ve got you covered.
