The View Update
The women of The View are currently on a short break before Memorial Day weekend.
During Friday’s (May 22) broadcast, the show aired repeats instead of new episodes, which may leave some fans wondering when fresh content will return. The broadcast featured a heated discussion from an earlier episode on April 29 with hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sarah Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farrah Griffin, and former Trump adviser Alina Haba.
They delved into some of Trump’s most controversial policies regarding healthcare and immigration. This interview happened shortly after former FBI Director James Comey was indicted for sharing a controversial photo of seashells with the phrase “86 47,” which Haba claimed implied a threat against the president.
“This is the director of the FBI. We have a responsibility,” Haba asserted. She reminded the hosts of their duty: “You all have a responsibility not to use language that incites violence.” She reflected on attending the White House Correspondents’ Dinner the previous weekend, where a gunman attempted to breach the building to harm Trump, offering her a new perspective on the importance of their voices.
Today’s guests on The View include comedian Craig Ferguson.
When Will The View Return with New Episodes?
So, it seems that The View is taking a brief hiatus for the Memorial Day holiday.
On Monday, May 25, they’ll re-air the episode from April 23, featuring Kate Hudson and Justin Theroux, along with an appearance by comedian Nikki Glaser promoting her stand-up special, Good Girl.
Looking ahead, Connecticut Senator Chris Murphy is set to visit to promote his new book, Crisis of the Common Good.
This week will conclude with all-new episodes featuring guests like Mindy Kaling, RuPaul, and Wanda Sykes.
The View airs on ABC every weekday at 11/10 am.
