Charles Barkley engages in a funny exchange with Knicks star OG Anunoby about his 'real name'

Knicks Star OG Anunoby Chats with Inside the NBA

After the New York Knicks’ significant victory against the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, OG Anunoby spoke with the Inside the NBA team. However, as often happens in such scenarios, the discussion soon veered off course.

When it was Charles Barkley’s turn to ask a question, he bypassed the game’s details entirely. Instead, he aimed for something more personal, albeit quite simple.

With his typical flair, Barkley opened with, “Can I ask you a question?” And you could just tell something classic was coming. He then proceeded with, “OG, may I ask you a question? What is your real name?” It was a detail that anyone could easily find online in just a few moments.

The banter that followed didn’t disappoint; Barkley humorously noted that Anunoby wasn’t pronouncing his name correctly. It was one of those light-hearted moments that, while perhaps not profound, definitely added some entertainment value post-game. There wasn’t much that stood out during the Knicks-Cavaliers match, but Barkley certainly added some life to the post-game atmosphere.

Anunoby delivered a solid performance in Cleveland, scoring 21 points in just 31 minutes, with three of his four three-point attempts landing successfully. He also contributed seven rebounds to help solidify the Knicks’ 121-108 win.

The Knicks are now eyeing a chance to sweep the series as they head back to Cleveland for Game 4 on Monday night, with the tip-off scheduled for 8 PM ET. If they keep the momentum going, they’ll make it to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.
