Reports indicate that the 15-time major champion’s private jet is heading back to Switzerland, perhaps to continue his rehabilitation. This follows his return to Florida earlier this month.
Woods’ Gulfstream V took off from Witham Field in Stuart, Florida on Saturday night and landed in Switzerland on Sunday.
He was seen disembarking a private plane at Palm Beach International Airport on May 13. Initially, it seemed his return to the U.S. marked the end of his overseas treatment, but that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore.
The reason for Woods’ quick trip back to Florida is a bit unclear. However, it coincided with Vanessa Trump, Donald Trump’s former daughter-in-law, announcing her breast cancer diagnosis. She referred to Woods as her “strength” in her journey through this tough time, posting a heartfelt message along with a photo of them on Instagram.
Woods revealed his relationship with Vanessa in March 2025. Notably, he was involved in a two-car accident in Jupiter Island, Florida on March 27, facing charges for two misdemeanors related to DUI and refusal to take a legal test. Interestingly, he produced a 0.00 result in blood alcohol tests but refused to undergo a urine test, which led to those charges.
Just four days after that incident, Woods announced he would step back from golf to focus on his health. He confirmed plans to enter comprehensive inpatient treatment abroad on April 1st.
Since the 2024 British Open, Woods hasn’t played in any competitive golf, with his last qualification being at the Masters at Augusta National that same year.
