Draymond Green’s Social Media Feud with Knicks Fans
Draymond Green is certainly no stranger to sharing his thoughts, but his recent social media exchange took many by surprise. The Warriors star, who also provides analysis for “Inside the NBA,” made some rather unexpected comments directed at Knicks fans. In response to a post, he said, “Watch your mouth before you trash your banner you filthy motherfuckers.”
This was in reaction to a user, @hanaHoops, who features an old photo of two young girls on her profile. It’s unclear if the image is of her or someone else entirely.
It all began when one social media user fired off a provocative message, “COME OUTSIDE BITCH,” tagging Green, perhaps linking it to a comment he made during the show.
@hanaHoops appeared unfazed and replied to Green’s tweet on Sunday, questioning if he had been hacked. She even humorously noted, “I’m actually crying why would he say that?”
She also shared the exchange on TikTok, captioning it, “Random Twitter interaction with Draymond Green,” showing that she was amused by the situation.
On the same day, Green was also busy addressing fans who suggested that hooper should jump on the Knicks bandwagon. He shot back at the suggestion, saying, “Why would I do that? I have more rings than you guys. I don’t need to be on anyone’s bandwagon.”
Despite the playful back-and-forth, Green had kind words for the Knicks, stating, “No one is playing better than the New York Knicks.” He praised their strong performance, highlighting how well they coordinate both offense and defense.
As it stands, the Knicks are just one victory away from making it to the NBA Finals for the first time since 1999.
