Lindsey Chrisley Arrested for Suspected Drunk Driving

Lindsey Chrisley, known from “Chrisley Knows Best,” was arrested in Georgia over the weekend on charges related to drunk driving.

The 36-year-old was taken into custody Saturday night, and reports indicate she was released the following morning.

In her defense, Chrisley stated that she intends to contest the allegations, claiming she was pulled over in an effort to prevent a potential accident.

“I was driving at high speed on a two-lane road. I had to swerve to avoid hitting an animal,” she explained in a statement.

Efforts to reach Chrisley for further comment were unsuccessful.

Last month, her ex-boyfriend, David Landsman, faced legal trouble when he was arrested in Georgia on charges of felony aggravated assault and misdemeanor battery. Subsequently, both sought a temporary restraining order against each other.

Earlier this month, they established a “mutual contact prohibition order,” requiring them to maintain a distance of 500 yards from each other’s homes and workplaces.

In a recent podcast appearance, Chrisley mentioned her intention to stay abstinent for a year, considering it the healthiest choice for her at this time.

She reflected, “I think that’s just what I need right now,” on “Southern Tea.”

Chrisley has a son named Jackson from her previous marriage to Will Campbell, which lasted from 2012 to 2021.

She left “Chrisley Knows Best” back in 2017, citing a tumultuous relationship with her father and stepmother, Todd and Julie Chrisley.

In September 2021, she made it clear that reconciling with her estranged family, including half-siblings Savannah, Chase, and Grayson, was not in her plans, especially after negative comments made about her by Todd in the media.

“Through therapy, I was advised to steer clear of social media and its drama,” she shared with Entertainment Tonight. “It’s tempting to respond, especially when things said are completely untrue or misrepresented.”
