Trump visits Walter Reed for his yearly physical and dental examination

According to the White House, President Donald Trump had his annual dental and physical examination at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.

This Tuesday marked his first visit to the doctor in person since April 2025, as noted by NBC News.

Trump will turn 80 next month, making him the oldest individual to hold the presidency in U.S. history, surpassing former President Joe Biden by five months when comparing their ages during their respective inaugurations in 2021 and 2025.

Last year, he was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common issue in older adults where blood struggles to flow from the legs to the heart. Approximately 20% of adults in the U.S. experience this condition. In the past, he wore compression socks for treatment but mentioned he found them uncomfortable and stopped using them.

He has related bruises on his hands to the aspirin he takes to thin his blood for this condition. Although he has admitted to using makeup to cover the bruises, there continues to be speculation about other potential health issues.

Walter Reed is located around 10 miles north of the White House in Bethesda, Maryland.

President Trump is at Walter Reed Medical Center this morning for his annual medical and dental exams as part of his routine preventative care. The White House says the president is also meeting with service members during the visit.
